Food and beverage is the second largest manufacturing sector in Ontario. A critical contributor to the provincial GDP, the sector has been called “The New Engine of Ontario’s Economy”.
BLOOM has been developing and managing a series of strategic initiatives since 2011 to increase adoption of innovative water and resource management solutions, and improve the competitiveness and business performance of Ontario’s food and beverage sector.
These initiatives have been undertaken in close collaboration with the Ontario government, food and beverage companies, industry associations, technology and solution providers, municipal governments and other eco-system stakeholders – what BLOOM calls the ‘Collective We’.
